Waste Management Seminar is an
orientation that was held by Tadweer (The Center of Waste Management) last
October 15th. The organization of Tadweer helped the young minds of the
students of TPGS to learn more about proper waste management, like segregating
their wastes. The presentation of Tadweer showed the importance and proper
execution of dividing their trash in the right bins to avoid hassle in
recycling. This topic is useful to the students as they can share the useful
information to others and they learned how to make the world a better place.
The orientation also helped students be less puzzled with which bin to use and how to use them. With the guidance of Tadweer, they also showed how segregating their wastes can take them a step further into having a cleaner and healthier school. Not only that, but it can give benefits for the students, teachers and staff. For example, it gives a clean environment, makes people less prone to diseases, a comfortable space for people to be in and an eco-friendly school.
The seminar was a success, and certainly helped the school, community, and the environment.
